I know I have been talking about snoring a lot, but I just had to tell you about the crazy dream I was having Tuesday night before work.
If you have read all of my posts, than you probably all ready know that my hubby is a snoring beast! I usually lay down before work and try to get a couple of hours of sleep before I go in. Sometime during that time, Al must have decided to come in and go to sleep. And, of course, he started snoring. This night, I must have been really tired, because I was sleeping through it. My mind was not completely unaware, however.
In my dream, I was walking down the hall of a school, by a class room. I heard this awful noise coming from inside. I was just too curious, so I looked inside to see what was going on. I was shocked by what I saw. It was a little girl, sleeping at her desk, snoring away. I was in disbelief that something so small and dainty could make such a noise, so I went in to investigate. As I approached her, I saw another desk hiding behind a cabinet. There were feet sticking out from beneath it. When I reached the girl, I looked to see who was behind the cabinet, and it was my hubby! Fast asleep and snoring away. I then realized that it was not the girl that was snoring, but my husband! I should have known! He is the only person, other than my dad, that I have heard make such noises. Noises that make you wonder.....How can a chain saw fit in that nasal cavity? Why do I still have to dust with all of the dust he probably inhales? How does he not get dehydrated? Why doesn't he wake up from hearing himself? Is that the cause of his poor hearing?
Now, I am sure this has happened to you while dreaming. Your dream fast forwards and all of the sudden you are some where else. Well now we were in bed sleeping. In my dream, he was still cutting down trees and it had woke me up. No surprise here. I started screaming at him as loud as I could, "Wake up! Wake up! Stop snoring! Why wont you wake up and stop snoring!" I was yelling this over and over and getting really frustrated. It must have been frustrating my brain too, because I soon woke up. And you guessed it! Al was sawing the biggest log in the forest. So, I gave him a little shove and he rolled over and was quite long enough for me to get back to sleep.
The moral of the story.... there isn't one. I just thought it was funny and I hope I could give all of you a good laugh too.
Al is in total denial. He does not snore! Just ask, he will tell you. I have been thinking about recording him so I can play it back to him, and also for a good laugh. May be I should post it here! lol! I don't know if he would be very appreciative of that. I love my husband dearly, and would not want to embarrass him. But I must admit, he is a big goofball, and he is the main source of my comic relief! I am not laughing at you honey, I'm laughing with you! Wink! Wink!
