Someday soon?

In the past couple of days, Colter has managed to get up on his hands and knees and rock back and forth. I realize that this may be a lame thing to be excited about, but I just can't help myself. I have not actually witnessed this, but I have been informed by the sitter and Al. Perhaps, they are in cohorts together, and are playing a mean joke on me. I am pretty sure that is not the case though. Anyhow, I think this may mean that he just might crawl soon?. I know I probably will regret it later, but I am really hoping he will.

I also think we may be getting closer to having a tooth. Of course, Colter still drools like mad, but I think that I see a little white in there, and his gums are swollen. I can also feel something, but I cannot be 100% sure.

FYI- This is basically the first time I have ever been around a baby. I was not a baby person before, because they scared me to death. Tanner did not come into my life until he was 2 1/2, so I missed out on his baby days. At that time, 2 1/2 was scary enough to me. Yes, I did do a lot of babysitting when I was younger, but that was almost always for older kids. A friend of mine teased that she wanted to see me holding my baby when he came. Apparently, she was not impressed with the way I plopped her first son on my hip and asked why his head was bobbing around. (Give me a break! That was almost 5 years ago. Geesh!) So if you ever wondered to yourself why I am so freaky about the baby stuff, hopefully that enlightens you a bit.

Have a great Thursday! One more day till Friday!!!!

I think it's great that you get so excited about Colter's milestones. Once he's crawling you'll be chasing him around like mad :)! And it does sound like he's getting a tooth..he'll have a mouth full of those in no time too :)!

Have a great day Miah!!

You have changed alot since Colter has come along. I remember how you used to be around babies.

The good thing about blogging is there are a lot of mothers out there to get some advice from when you need it! :)

I loved that stage! Alex would have such a determined look on his face when he rocked. Cute
