Watch out world, here I come!

We had a pretty uneventful weekend, which I sooo welcomed. I did a lot of nothing, and it was great. I shouldn't say it was uneventful, it just didn't consist of lots and lots of things I HAD to do. Colter and I just hung out, browsed around some of our local stores, took some naps, and took some short walks.

This past week, Colter has been surprising me with many things. Saturday, I had him sitting in his crib playing with some toys while I was searching for something in his room. When I turned around, he was standing up. Of course, he hasn't yet grasped the concept of hang on or biff it, so back on his butt he went. He managed to pull himself up several more times. All before I could make a mad dash for my camera. Of course, by the time I got back with the camera, he decided he had had enough of that. He was not going to participate in my annoying little let mommy get a picture game.

Luckily, I sometimes think things out ahead of time, and thought may be it would be a good idea just to leave the camera on his dresser. You know, in case there was a next time. And wouldn't you know, because I am such a brainiac, it just so happens, he did it again yesterday. Go baby go! Who knows what he may have in store for me today.

Here's to a great new week! Lets hope!!

I don't know by the picture, but have you lowered the mattress? I know when Micah first stood up, someone comment on that and whew!! We hadn't even thought of it. Don't want any climbing out.. Just a tip I appreciated, thought I would share.

You caught a great moment there, Miah. We know he will be walking soon. Had a woman tell me years ago that kids need to crawl for motor skills. Will share with your father. Love Nana E.

Cute, Cute, Cute!! Isn't it funny how we are always running for the infamous camera!!!

I agree...is the mattress all the way to the bottom??

Okay, I thought I better let you ladies know. The mattress is all the way to the bottom. The reason it doesn't look like it is because I had the rail/side down. Thanks for the tips and concern though. I probably would have needed them, if my ped didn't insist on it months ago.
