Troubled Thursday

What a day yesterday. I don't want to bring you down today, but I need to vent. Just call me the dark angel.

I don't know why, but for some reason I decided to check the obits on www.argusleader.com yesterday. I was very sad to see that an old childhood friend of mine, gave birth to a still born baby last Saturday. My heart is aching for her. Please say a prayer for Heather, Dan, Aubrey, Jacob and the extended family. God bless them all.

With that sad news out, I now need to rant a bit. Tanners bike was stolen once again on wednesday evening. We were lucky enough the first time to find his bike about 3 weeks later. I don't know if we will be that lucky this time, but you can bet your butt I will be out there beating the pavement trying to find it. We have a lot of naughty kids in the neighborhood, who could be the culprits. If I have to drive every street in town to find it, I will.

I don't understand why kids do this stuff. I also don't get why the parents of these kids are not questioning them about where their new bike came from. Last time it was stolen right from the bike rack at school. When we found it, it was leaning up against a tree in the front yard of a classmate of his. We made sure that if it was taken again, there would be no mistake that it was his. Okay, enough ranting for the year.

I hope everyone has a super weekend!!

What the heck?? Why aren't the parents asking the kid where the new bike came from??? That's just wrong. I hope you find it.

And my prayers are with your friend and their family.

Sorry to hear about your friend...I'll say a prayer for her and her family!

Also sorry to hear Tanner's bike got stolen. I can't believe how some kids are these days! Like you said...why aren't the parents asking these kids where they got the new bike from. You think they would realize their kid now has a different bike. Apparently the parents are clueless (that's why the kids do the things they do). I hope you guys are able to find it! Good luck!

Have a great weekend!!

I'm so sad for the family who lost their baby. That really makes my heart ache. This happened to an old friend of my and I saw it on the news. Children's Mirical Network helped her out and she was a part of the telethon a few years ago. I can not imagine such pain.

Sorry to hear that Tanners wheels were stolen again. I know that you'll find them though. Your dedicated like that. :)

I am really sorry for your friends and the loss of their baby!

Man, Tanner must have a great bike!! You can tell what kids get taught NOTHING!!! I would be so mad if I were you guys!! Before you smack the head of the kid that stole bike, if you find out, make sure you smack the parents too. I could be wrong abou the parents, chances are I am not.

I would be upset too if my child bike got stolen. That is awful.
I agree: What is with the parents??? I would notice if a new bike just showed up at our house.???? Wierd.

What a bummer! I can't believe that a parent is that clueless. I have a feeling the parents just don't care. That is usually what I notice. I hope you find his bike soon.

I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your friends baby. I can only imagine the overwhelming paine they must feel. They are in my thoughts.
