What is that? Is that silence I here? Did you know that 2 1/2 hours with a 1 year old can be exhausting? I love this kid, but some nights I am glad that he insists on going to bed at 7pm. Wow, he was a fussy boy today. I am sure that teething is the culprit.
When I picked him up from the sitter today, I noticed he had finally got another tooth on top. After a bit more exploration, I realized there is another one almost through. Runny diapers, sleepless nights. I would like to think that some day I will catch on.
After supper and a diaper change, Mr fussy britches decided he wanted to put his own pants on. His patience was non existent and he ended up carrying on about his lack of success for what seemed like an eternity. It was comical for about a millisecond. By this time, my patience had dwindled.
Tanner is staying with a friend tonight, so I basically have the house to myself. I am going to try to enjoy it, however I am sure I will be out cold in another hour. 20 year old me would be kicking this old fogies behind. Fast asleep by 8:30 on a saturday night? Sad.

Hey I was asleep on Saturday night by 9:30...that's early for me! I've been doing that alot lately. I guess that's what happens when you near the 30 year mark :)..he he!

I just made that comment to Dave the other day. About how sad we were, going to bed so early on a Sat. night. I remember when we were dating I would be up until 3 or 4 am and then get up for work the next morn/same morn with just 3 hours sleep. Wow, can't do that any more! Getting old sucks! ;0)
I stay up late on weekends but only to catch up on my DVR. Keeping up with all the shows I watch can be tiring in itself.
Caymen is also trying to be MISS INDEPENDENT with her pants too!

Teeth - ughh, they can play havoc on these little folk. I hope it gets better for you. I feel your pain on the independance thing, I know I am supposed to let him do it, but COME ON, there is a time and place. Why does he always have to pick the wrong place and wrong time to push the buttons?? haa haa..
You are not an old fogie, you are a mom! Funny thing is we get to bed earlier on the weekends then we do during the week. Hummm, the good ole days are behind us that is for sure. No more late night garage parties on our calendar!
